Bella has reached some important milestones. Friday we finally got her to start sucking on a pacifier while she was feeding to simulate drinking from a bottle. She's still not bottle ready, but this is a good sign that we are on our way. Then last night we found out she has finally reached the 3lb mark! Yippee! I don't think there is a set weight that she has to hit before she goes home, but this is definately heading in the right direction.
We are so amazed at how well Bella is able to tune out the distractions around her. There is always a baby crying or an alarm going off, but she just sleeps right through it like it's nothing. Even out of her Giraffe bed. She is not going to be able to sleep in her quiet room, we are going to have to play some cds or something to make a little noise for her.

Hi Robyn and Grant, I have added you to our prayer list at church, Esabella looks so beautiful and is getting stronger everyday. Kathy has a "birth and 1 yr. after" picture of her little 1lb granddaughter to send you...she said it is amazing God's infinite power and mercy...hers is a true Miracle story...just like y'alls.
Love and blessings, Laurie Sanders
Gosh...I mean Isabella...I'm sorry...Love Laurie
Robyn & Grant,
I have been following your blog and I'm always so excited to see what progress sweet Bella has made. So many of these stories take me back about 8 or 9 months to when Graham was in the hospital. You all seem to be handling the pressures of it all so well and I know that is a direct result of our God's POWER.
Take care of yourselves and little Bella!
