Cuddle Time

Meet Lady Isabella. Here she is up close and personal. Isn't she just beautiful.

Robyn started the day with another sky rocket blood pressure, and it took most of the morning to get it under control. Grandpa's arrival brought the blood pressure back under control and the Harris nurses told Robyn she could go to visit Isabella if she would ride and not get too excited. Grandpa got to escort Robyn over and took a few shots with Robyn's camera.

Lady Isabella is doing great. The C-pap has been removed, and she is breathing on her own. We heard the nurses laughing about the fact that she does not want to stay in the swaddling barrier around her. She keeps rolling out or at least rolls up on top and seems to like to lay across them. She is still on the IV for supplement, and she was not able to handle the 10 cc of milk so they have cut her back to 6. The nurses also enjoyed telling Robyn about how feisty Lady Isabella is. When we arrived Robyn got to change the diaper again and take her temperature. She still does not like that at all. After getting her clean and measured they lifted Isabella out of the bed and placed her inside the front of Robyn's gown and then covered her with a warm blanket. The next 50 minutes were the calmest I have seen her. She (Isabella) still squirmed a little but it was hard telling who was enjoying themselves more, Mother Robyn, Daughter Isabella or Grandpa Jim. Just about the time Isabella was scheduled to go back into hibernation Papa Grant arrived on the scene and also had an opportunity to get to hold Lady Isabella. Thank you so much for your wonderful support and blessings.

Proud Grandpa
