2 pounds 9 ounces

We have another update from a proud Grandpa today:

The update from the nurses was that her weight is holding at 2 lbs 9 oz. She has responded to the light treatments and they have taken her off the light so she can be held longer. Robyn held Lady Isabella 1st and she immediately settled down and enjoyed her mother. After about 45 minutes Robyn asked Nurse Kate if I could hold her and she agreed so I got an opportunity to hold her for another 45 minutes. Then I gave her back to Robyn and went to the waiting room so Rebekah and Stephanie could see the baby as well. {Stephanie is Robyn's cousin who was in town today for a conference.}

Kate reported that they started giving her 13 cc of milk this morning and we learned later that she had digested it all and was fed another 13 cc at 11:00. Grant reports that they later backed off to 11 cc but are monitoring closely and want to give her as much milk as she can take to hopefully get off the IV as soon as possible.

Way to go Baby Bella! Robyn, it is great to see that smile of yours. Isn't it amazing how much love you already have for Bella? And just think it will continue to grow every day!

Love ya!
