Robyn was allowed to get up today to take a shower and remove bandages from the incision. Removing the bandage has made her much more comfortable, and the shower made her feel even better. Grandpa got to take Robyn over to see Lady Isabella this afternoon. Robyn is much more mobile and steady on her feet since yesterday. She was able to change the first diaper and take Bella's temperature under the arm. The two nurses indicated that this temperature thing seems to be the most aggravating to Isabella, as it is for most all babies. The nurses told us that they have increased her feedings from 6 to 10cc and clarified that this is every 3 hours. They were also very chatty and talked to Robyn at length about all they were doing and telling her what to expect in Bella's development.
