Bella and I went to the zoo with our friends Cari, Lauren and Grant. We had a great time! I think Bella had more fun watching all the people than the animals, but that's okay. :) Kids are the best at making you feel like a million bucks! Cari was having trouble with one of her hands so I offered for Grant to hold one of my hands while I pushed the stroller with the other. A couple times I got distracted and I would hear this little "Aunt Robyn!" and there would be Grant right next to me with his hand up ready to take mine. Makes my heart melt!
We had to get pictures with the live giraffes and elephants since that is what our lovies are.
Grant and Lauren shared their bird food with us.

The sky was clear blue, hardly a cloud in the sky and it started to rain. Grant and Lauren were having a hard time not getting to see Bella because of her rain cover so they found a way around it. :)

Taking ya'lls picture with the giraffe made me smile. Marcy & I share a love of giraffes. A Biology teacher-friend of ours once told us that giraffes are the only animals that have a relationship with their babies for life. We love the thought that giraffes love their babies forever ... just like we love our babies. We always look for giraffe cards and mementos. Share this story with sweet Bella when she gets about Jr Hi age and you need to remind eachother of your love.
