So my friend Cari has decided I need a blog to keep track of my pregnancy. She's making me do it. We'll see how consistant I can be.
Yesterday Grant and I got to see "The Bean" for the first time. It was so active that we almost didn't get a picture of it. I have to say that it was a relif to see him/her and hear the heartbeat and to know everything is okay. It is making this experience seem more real. I'm at 10 weeks and still having a little nausea, but not as bad as before.
When I told my Dad about the baby I asked if he was ready to be our nanny. He is super excited about the whole thing. He said he was happy for us, but really more happy for himself. He felt it was torture when I asked him not to say anything yet. I asked my sister if she was ready to be an aunt and she asked who was having a baby. I told her there were only two choices and I was the one telling her so who did she think it was. She thought Grant and I didn't want kids. Everyone at work has been very excited as well. They all feel like it's going to be as much theirs as ours. I'm getting spoiled because they let me pick where we go to lunch everyday depending on what I'm hungry for. It's great to be spoiled, but I'm not going to get used to it because I know after the baby is born I won't exist. :)
