Doctor Visit

Because of Bella being premature the doctor wanted to do a 21 month check up, which we did today. She is 35 inches tall and 27.9 pounds. That puts her in the 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight.

Katy Graduation

We went to Salt Lake City this weekend to see my sister-in-law graduate with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. We enjoyed beautiful weather and lots of good family time.On Saturday we went to the Red Butte Gardens. Bella was having a terrible two day, but she stopped her fussing long enough to enjoy the water.No, we did not put Bella in a cage for her bad behavior! There was a little pagoda in the Children's Garden that Bella and Grant went into. Pajama Accessories

Bella insisted on wearing her tennis shoes with her pajamas tonight. I guess she wants to be prepared for anything! At least they matched!

Easter Egg Hunt

With Grant's mom being here recuperating from her hip surgery we decided to have Easter at our house this year. It was my first Easter dinner and I couldn't have done it with out her help and the help of my sister-in-law, Melinda. My earlier post featured my first Coconut Cream pie. Ann is a great teacher! There is quite a science to getting it just right. We also had a spiral ham, green beans and potatoes, macaroni and cheese and rolls.

Practicing for Easter

Gran had me buy Easter eggs for Bella to carry around in her little pink basket. She actually likes dumping them out more than collecting them. I think she's figuring out that you can do a lot more when you walk.

It's Official

It's official, we are now a walker! It really started last Thursday with Bella walking enough in the nursery at church that she got to go on the playground. I guess she decided that was worth walking for because she's been walking a little more everyday since then. She now walks more than she scoots! Yippee!!! She is having so much fun carrying things around too. We have a little football that seems to be her favorite. It needs air so it has just enough give to make it easy to grasp. We are working on our spiral next. :)
