Fun Times

Sunday we went to see "Ice" at the Gaylord Texan. The theme was the Grinch and it was so cool! Bella even endured her hat to go, too bad she couldn't see anything! :)

We have a 7 year old friend who has taken on the job of being Bella's big brother. Last Friday he took her to Build-a-Bear to build her a bunny just like a special one that he has. These are pictures of our adventure.

New Weight

I took Bella to get her RSV shot today and she weighed in at 10lb 12oz and 22in long! I can't believe what a chunk! :) She's getting so big so fast!

Before Santa and Sizing Things Up

I took these pictures last week to show how much Bella has grown. She's a little heat box and got way too hot in this sweater!

Good thing I took these photos before we left since she didn't wake up for Santa!

Santa

We went and saw Santa today. Bella didn't want to wake up so we had to improvise. :)

Friends

The Glen Lake Girls all got together with our newest members of the family. It was a great time of fellowship and baby passing. In the picture of all three of them, the baby on the left is 2 months old, Bella is in the middle and is 3 1/2 months old and a week older than the baby on the right.

It's been interesting taking Bella in public because when ever people ask how old she is I have to explain that she came early because everybody knows she doesn't look like a 3 month old. I was thinking today though that we are going to get our money's worth out of her car seat since she'll be in it twice as long. :)

In the picture of Bella with her giraffe we went to the playground with some friends and I didn't have her pacifier so we had to make due with Mr. Giraffe's ear. She didn't seem to mind. :)

Bella has become a regular church attender her. She sits through the service quite nicely. Of course she squeaks now and then and it seems so loud to me, but others have assured me that I'm just sensitive because it's my daughter. She seems to really like the music. She quiets down when we start singing and stays awake.

Coolest Thing

The coolest thing happened today. I was in Target and the lady behind me in line was admiring Bella (of course!:)) so we talked a little about how early she came and what a miracle she is. Then as I'm putting my shopping cart in the return cart area she walks up and hands me a Target gift card. She said she just wanted to give a little something to such a precious baby! Wow! People always surprise you!

The pictures are from my friend Cari's house with her daughter Lauren. I'm sure she has already posted these pictures on her blog, but I'm just proud that they are going up at all! :)

Skeet Range, Daddy Daughter Time, Halloween

I'm having a hard time coming up with things to write about that other people would find interesting. I really just like to share my pictures. :) But here is a little background for the ones I'm posting.

Weekend before last we went to Brownwood to visit family and Bella was once again entertained by her cousins. Henley was reading to her and Holden was passing out kisses again. :) It really is sweet to see how good her cousins are to her.

Bella's head has gotten a little flat on one side so we are trying to do as much tummy time as possible. She doesn't always like it so Mom and Dad like to try and entertain her as much as possible. This scene was just too cute not to capture on film.

This Halloween was our first in a neighborhood. Bella and I sat out in the driveway passing out candy to all of the trick-or-treaters that came by. Of course Bella was the cutest one out there! We had two costumes to choose from so we just wore them both. :) Lots of people commented on her size and were shocked to learn she was 3 months old. Whenever we tell someone that they automatically ask if she was premature. She looks so big to us we forget how small she must look to everyone else.

I'm going on one of my big scrapbooking retreats this weekend so Grant will have Bella by himself. I'm actually not worried about him, I'm more worried about how I'll handle being away. I may just have to have them come up for a short visit on Saturday.
